Can ReaLemon be used as a substitute for fresh squeezed lemon in a hot lemon drink?
I have been sick for nearly 24 hours with the flu, and I want to make a hot lemon drink using lemon, honey, and water. I, unfortunately don’t have any lemons here, but I do have a bottle of ReaLemon. Can I use this as a substitute, and if so than what proportions should I use? Will it have the same benefits?
Yes you can. It’s made from concentrate, NOT concentrated, as people think.
It should say on the bottle label how much lemon juice would equal one fresh lemon.
