Could you eat 100 bananas in 24 hours?

A classmate of mine, 17 years old, seems convinced he could eat 100 bananas in a consecutive 24 hour period. i did some research and crunched some numbers, and my findings support that he couldnt do it. if the average banana is 4.5 oz, thats 450 oz, or 28 lbs, which translates roughly to 13 liters of banana. i read the stomach can stretch to 4 L, so he’d essentially be filling his stomach to the max just over 3 times in one day. do you think its possible? also, are there any health risks dealing with this? this also means he’d be consuming 60,000 mg of potassium. thanks for your help!

Tell him not to do it! I think people can die from too much potassium!
